Prudden Road Surfacing League
Treasurer’s Report: Year ended 31 Dec 2007
With regard to the accounts for the Prudden Road Surface Tennis League for the year ended 31 December 2007, I am pleased to report that an excess of income over expenditure of £245.27 is recorded, resulting in an increased retained bank balance of £1623.78.
Most items of recorded income and expenditure are similar to the prior year and there are only a few items to bring to your attention:
It should be noted that £350 is overdue from advertisers in the 2007 League Handbook, such anticipated monies are not recorded as income until received.
I am pleased to report that the number of fines have reduced, as the number of clubs defaulting is less frequent than in prior years.
The financial position of the League is very healthy and much is due to the generosity of the League Sponsors. I can state that the receipts and payments presented to me are accurately recorded in the accounts and I am unaware of any outstanding items that should be brought to you attention at this time. Finally, and as usual, I record my thanks to Corin Bishop for attending to the day to day Treasurer’s duties of the League.
